I was invited to host the april 2011 meeting of Oslo Coding Dojo. I created, presented and facilitated the group task for the evening. The slides and assignment is available at Github.


Minesweeper Code Kata

Demonstrated how to build a simple minesweeper game in under 20 minutes using testdriven JavaScript - in front of a live audience at the Communities in Action 2011 event in Oslo. There's a prerecorded version here.

A short and sweet introductory workshop (slides and exercises) which I created and used to introduce Steria colleagues to basic Ruby programming in late 2010.

At the JavaZone 2010 conference I gave an hour-long presentation about interactive programming in Ruby, JavaScript and Clojure. I livecoded simple examples ranging from basic text REPL up to live development of a 3D game. Video recording of the talk available here (in Norwegian).

Cut my workshop down to a one hour talk, which I presented at the april 2010 meetup of javaBin, the Norwegian Java user group in Oslo.

FizzBuzz Code Kata

Demonstrated a simple ten-minute prepared code kata for the Oslo Code Dojo meetup group in early 2010, showcasing basic test-driven development in JavaScript. There's a prerecorded version here.
